Hb level and performance status

Hemoglobin (Hb) levels were associated with performance status1

• In one observational study, the lower the baseline Hb level, the more likely patients were ambulatory but unable to work, to stay in bed or chair more than 50% of waking hours, or to be confined to a bed or chair*1-3

Performance status by Hb level

*Observational, prospective, multisite survey of 15,367 patients with solid or hematological tumors from 24 European countries. 39.8% of the patients were receiving chemotherapy at enrollment. Data were collected for up to 6 data points or 6 months of scheduled clinic visits.
†Missing data for n = 519.
